About the Foundation

Believe it or not, this foundation was first thought of while we were in the hospital with Jack, he was 2 days old. We were struggling immensely with hearing the news of his diagnoses. “His brain is smooth, he has Lissencephaly, you can expect difficult to control seizures and his cognitive deficits will be significant.”   I (Tagen) couldn’t focus on anything positive, I was devastated and terrified for my sweet baby. Kolt held me and Jack and said “someday we will turn this into something good and maybe have a foundation in his name”.  Here we are, 4.5 years later. Kolt was right, there has been SO much good because of Jack.
